As a veterinarian, my mission is to always be side-by-side with pet parents in providing the highest quality care for pets. I may be the expert in pet care, but each and every pet parent is the expert of their individual pet. When I think about my own pets – yes, all 40+ of them – I think about their unique personalities and the joys they bring to me in different ways. Any pet parent can easily think of a goofy trait or quirk that makes you love your pet so deeply, which is the beauty of pet parenthood. But, just as unique as the joy is that they provide to us, so are their needs. 

If you’re anything like I was with my first pets, you’ve asked yourself questions like: “How do I know they’re eating a healthy amount?” or “What is the best kind of food?”. These questions prove that pet care is not a one-size-fits-all deal and it’s not easy knowing what’s best. Finding the right balance of food, treats, supplements, exercise, etc. for your pet takes time with a personalized and meaningful approach – and Fuzzy’s mission is to be there every step of the way for pet parents with our unique insights from our 24/7 vet telehealth services, our vet-curated e-commerce site, educational tools + more.

Today, I’m excited to announce that Fuzzy has added another layer of individualized pet care to the family – Dandy, the personalized, vet-curated supplement treats company. Dandy was founded by Danielle Sobel with the same mission in mind as Fuzzy: a caring and customized approach to pet care to satisfy all pet needs. Now, Fuzzy members will have further access to nutritional care that improves their pets overall health through Dandy dog supplements and treats that help combat everything from anxiety and allergies, promote better digestion and improve immune function.

As Fuzzy’s Chief Veterinary Officer, I am thrilled to see another preventative care piece added to Fuzzy’s ecosystem and to welcome the Dandy team to our pack. As a pet parent, I’m excited to spoil my precious pets with Dandy treats that will help them live healthier and happier lives.
